Bought them off Peter (PJS917) who had used them on his S2 sprint car for a few months - one careful owner etc etc...[
Secondhand, so price not so steep.

Not too sure about the April one (as she's having some metal surgery at the moment [] ), but I WILL make some over the summer for sure as the Turbo is staying for the foreseeable future [

Hope to see a few faces again ?

Not yet bud, I decided to delve into the one bubble on the bottom of the quarter and of course discovered a few issues - as expected I guess. So the bro-in-law (who's been restoring Mk2 escorts for years) has agreed to give me some time, and we've begun metal surgery. It's gonna be quite extensive, but no point doing things half hearted, it'll only come back. So it's currently under the knife as it were, and will be a slow process, but will be right. Hopefully I can keep her then.
As you know, Tony's good for paint, but doesn't like resto work. Depending upon how much needs to be painted to get it right after the metalwork's done, it MAY even get a colour change, we'll see............[8D]
Things are looking up somewhat, busy at the moment, and have other work lined up too, so fingers crossed it continues and I'll be happy. Even bought a new steering wheel for her to celebrate haha, I'll post a pic if anyone wants to see it ?
Cheers Nick,
Mike
PS - I now need a steering wheel boss too, so if anyone has one, please PM me. Ta
