are 993's allowed? This looks like a great venue and I can probably scrape together enough brass for the petrol to get there and back. Please post September (24th?) and October (22nd?) dates on other model's forum thingies so we don't feel like lepers. Even if we are.
mik.
we did suggest the thread was placed in the general discussion area and hoped all Porsche enthusiasts would come along no matter what model they drive so yes the more the merrier as they say. Some of us had food at the Harvester and on this occasion found it recomendable. I would be travelling over from Doncaster so re-kindled the post to have an idea who was going this time its long way to travel .
looks like a Thursday evening meet to now for this September one
I will post a thread link in the general area to generate more interest

I'm away this weekend, but should be able to get over to compare 'lips' the following Saturday?
How about arranging a meeting at Oulton one weekend when there is a trackday/racing on? Not much of the season left, I know!

Lee, I vote that we take a rain check this week and reschedule it. 3 of us stood around in the dark might be a bit of an anticlimax?!![]

Yes sounds spot on.
I agree we need more, so we shall start another thread at some point with suggested dates etc.
But a saturday or oulton trip sounds good. Maybe a saturday with a bacon buttie stop via North Wales somewhere [

Hi Steve
The one closest to the camera on that particular picture is Mike's (Berg944) car.
His is Mint Green, a Porsche colour I believe but was not available originally on the 944. Mike's car was resprayed at some point many years ago when his car used to be tracked by Paragon I think.
I am sure he will be along soon to complete the story.
Hope that helps

Some people like it, others hate it (my wife included)...............but nobody can ignore it[
When I drive though town with the widows down I hear comments off the street like "wow", "yuk", and "look at the state of that" (they could be referring to me of course) ........all adds to the experience.
I think the colour was originally the racing series of 924's as I have the matching mint green pinstripe seats.
I am sure some bigger anorak than me will tell us the full history[
Will dig out some photos.
Minty Mike[:'(]
