I have no complaints with the service I have ever received from Autobahn or PCT (who will fit your xenons). They PCT guys are very good & know their stuff. I imagine that they will do a really good job. Let me know, as I am thinking of having reversing sensors fitted, so let me know how you get on.
darren i am collecting the 993 immaculate pcgb pampered black beauty showroom condition from lancashire next week.as i mentioned elsewehere i couldnt wait for when the 3 eldest finish uni next summer before getting back into porsche ownership-but the 997 TT PDK i yearn will have to wait till after that time and will hopefully be a good partner in the garage for the classic air cooled 993.probably sometime 18 months away-that is the current plan anyway!!
cheers
Sounds like an excellent plan a 993 and 997TT will partner very nicely - the problem you will have in 18 months is being on the brink of the next generation which you will surely wait for, (an extra few months saving time). The financial committment of kids is immense; at least yours are at Uni - mine are 8 and 3 and I looked after them last week whilst my wife worked; I took them camping for a few days, then to Alton Towers for a few days; cost a fortune!!
I still don't know what to do with my car; my sensible head says to sell, but I just love it. 30K miles in two years. Issue is I sold my busines back in the spring and whilst I am in no hurry to return to work I have decided to go back into industry as opossed to my own business; this means that the Porsche can be a little circumspect. I have a job offer for a Oct start that comes with a new style 530d or E350 which i can spec however i want. Also I just bought my wife a new V70, hard to keep the Porsche but hard to let go. Anyway, I'll see how I feel after sumnmer hols!!
Stuey, sorry to hijack your thread, your car is beautiful, I love the bright colours; mine in Ruby red and I have the centre console paited too - looks class. You will love the 997!

I was offered a manual c2s with loads of kit but her who must be obeyed wouldn't let me spend any more and the deal had to be done before the month end. I did get a fantastic deal though and have now changed the wheels to turbo's.

....and will only have to pay half the road tax of the 'S' model too! A small thing, I know - but every little helps!! Mind you, you could always get her a £200 pair of shoes with the money you've saved on the tax!![]

I think it depends on the OPCs sales target and if they have met them or not.I spoke to several OPCs in the last couple of weeks and some were alot more interested in doing business before the month end than others. I did get a very very good deal from my OPC but they did want the sale before the month end or the offer would no longer be available.

Does this mean that there are still good deals to be had on new cars at OPCs? I thought, after talking to some of the salesman at Hatfield, that sales were now pretty strong and the days of financially attractive deals had disappeared.

Get yourself a Paddle Shift Steering Wheel as soon as you can, transforms the PDK..
You have to do without the steering wheel multifunctions, but the fun factor is worth the loss... []

They have offered me the option of paddle shift steering wheel but i was going to stay with the multi-function one. Does it really make that much difference.

Having had both types I would rather have the paddles than the multi-function. You can do all the phone functions through the lower left stalk anyhow. Decisions, decisions.......[]ORIGINAL: pwr1@o2.co.uk
