Just thought I'd say a quick hello to you all in advance ... Im sure I'll get some great advice from you all

I've got a 2000 Boxster S on hold for me at the moment until my VX220 is sold ... 53,000 miles and wait for it ... 'ITS PINK' (please dont all tell me not to get it because thats the reason I am) but dont worry its not a dodgy pink - more pearlescent pink/silver... absolutely in excellent condition ... Im buying private so I'll be having the Porsche 111 check done before I pick her up - is this advisable over a general AA inspection?

Any advice?

[:D]

The 111 point check is a good start. Any work required can then be negotiated with the vendor.

Would be great to see a pink one at an event next year [:)]

Well I'll stick with that check then ... its had two owners - an older couple who had it since new and the lady who has it now bought it from her local Porsche dealership ... her partner had it sprayed as a suprise when she picked it up (it was red) ... that was 2 years ago and paintwork is still immaculate ... once Ive got my private plate on too will look new - so excited!

Was just a bit worried about people telling me about the 'bad' engines ... would this 111 check pick up any faults like this?

The only pink one I have seen was this:

Haha ... aww your little orange halloween car ... I bet he had an ace night [:D]

Ive seen that article and that pink one advertised - the one Im after isnt quite that 'pink' more pearlescenty silvery pink (if you know what I mean) just having hold ups with the VX and people buying ... []

Piccies coming as soon as Ive picked her up - got a few but knowing my luck, Ill get done for soddin copyright!!!

Just hope she keeps it for me - typical woman hates waiting [;)]

The waiting is the hardest ... especially if you have driven her.....

We hope you sell your VX220 soon.

Just a thought Nick - do you have a pair of matching orange high heels for your Porsche Halloweenster [:D]
Haven't seen those in the Tequipment catalogue!

You've forgotten you're dealing with the female of the species - shoes are no good unless there's also the matching gloves and handbag (the latter being essential if you drive a pink Boxster!)

Oh Chris that's soooooo 80's to have matching shoes, bag and gloves - get with the beat boy!

As for the PINK boxster........what can I say? [:D] Fantastic. One way to upset a whole bunch of petrolheads[:D][:D][:D]

Hahaha .... oh they're fab BUT they dont have heels so not interested [:D] - I def cant have flat shoes !!!

The handbag I do have although no pink gloves ... Im sure Santa could bring me some !

Well I've had someone on yesterday wanting to see mine Sunday when he gets back (he works away) so fingers crossed everyone!

Do you all know each other then on here??

Ah, a girl after my own heart. I wore heels throughout the entirety of my pregnancy, and I was HUGE - (went from 7 1/2 stone to 11 stone 4!!). I teetered into the Labour Ward at 2.30am having contractions every 3 minutes - IN HEELS!!! Midwifes face was a picture! [:D]

There is no excuse for flatties, unless you're 6 foot tall.

Don't know many people on the Boxster section, but Chris did PM me as he thought he spied me on the road and we had a wee email banter, so duly, I felt could critisise his dress sense!

Any news on the sale and purchase?

Oh hurray another female ... oh thats so funny ... its exactly what I'd do ... can just imagine you tottering around hospital ... Im only 5ft4 so every inch helps - plus I feel like a man in flats and I walk like a duck! Only flats I have are my wellies and rigger boots [:D]

None at all ... so unimpressed ... seems people are only ringing at weekends so its just a case of getting through the week and hoping someone rings ... I've got such a stupid car - most people dont want them as an every day car so its a limited market (plus if you're over 5ft 5 you have no chance of getting into one).

Vauxhall keep trying to get through but they're offiering me a stupid amount to buy it .. £1500 less than what I want for it ... I've told him where to stick it but he's been trying all day and we keep missing each other. Im sure he thinks Im just another thick blonde - little does he know I used to work at Mercedes and know exactly what those boys are like!

Got one person from Leeds coming (hopefully) Sunday and have got two others who want mine but must sell theirs first ...
