New owner (with any luck)

Post some pics of the number on your transmission too. I doubt that you have a G50/50.

It can be seen from under the car at the very underneath of the box.
 
Humm, had another look at the book and the PET V pages and its listed as having a G50.50 gearbox. Its listed as the standard box for a MY 1989 Coupe, however the serial number seems to suggest a G50.00. Looks like a typo in the PET.

Will try to have a look underneath and take a pic, but getting married on Saturday then off to China for 3 weeks.
 
Should probably have posted before, but hey !

Wedding day was great despite the entire south being flooded (what a day to get married with people travelling from bristol !)

Things going well, but now on blocks in the garage waiting for summer (the new car, not the new wife)

We had a lovely day thank you. It did rain once while we were having photos taken but luckily it did not last long and we carried on after it stopped. It was good to have a break and drink some more champagne while we were waiting [:D]
