Newbie.. Help needed please.

AHG63, just so you know when I purchased my C2S it still had the Porsche warranty on it with six months to go, if the previous owner has not made any claim during the first or second year there is no problem in transferring over to your name, all you have to do is just give them a call and there will do all the paperwork and issue you with a New warranty card in your name for the balance remaining.

Enjoy your car I love my C2S which also has the PDK with all the toys.

I was told that they would only transfer the warranty if No claims were made during the warranty period, seems daft but I guess its their get out clause. If you are unsure if any claims were made they will tell you when you transfer the warranty over.

ah ok... i'd not heard that before. means one has to 'plan' for warranty renewal and if you think you 'may' sell get a 1-year not a 2-year warranty then when you renew it is clean again :)

I've picked her up from Harbour Cars today, I'm so pleased, drove back to Berkshire sweet as a nut.Sunday I'll go to the open day in Gloucestershire and meet some like minded people.
Is it a good idea to have the mesh put on to protect the radiators from damage and rust?
Thanks for any help/advice.

Congratulations on your purchase! Health to drive.
Have a look at this post about radiator protection. I have all the gear to do it but haven't yet. I'm currently considering covering the outside vents only and keep the middle one as is.

Hi, I purchased my 997.2 C2S from Harbour cars recently and they provided a 111 point inspection report with the car, with over rev report.

HI David, I found Harbour Cars very professional and easy to deal with, as you say 111 point check and rev report,I still had a ppi which in my mind was worth it and confirmed it was a great car
Hope your enjoying your car as much as I am .
