Newbie - My first Porsche

Have you thought to try your OPC for your head gasket kit? I find that 9 times out of 10 and especially for service items they are pretty competitive

I'd say first try OPC. You'll often be surprised at the price, and the receptionist will make you a coffee...[8|]

Second, Bert Gear. If he can't supply it he'll tell you where you can get the best deal.

Then, if it's a new part GSF or ECP, and then down the list until Porscheshop, if all else fails.

Used, Porschapart because they are always helpful, then if they can't help work your way around the e-bay dealers.

Well thats me snookered, my 944 is red too, however it wont fade as its in my shop STILL being worked on [:(]
(excuse the state of the place, usually clean)

A lux with leather and air, you'll love it! Far more practical than all those silly Turbo things.......[;)]

Unless it happens to be a silly turbo thing with air, and leather and folding roof, ahem!

I went surfing for s'plugs for the 924T last weekend. Porscheshop ÂŁ37 all inc, Euro car parts ÂŁ50+. Best to check prices before making assumptions. I have no connection with Porshceshoop.

Yeah but Turbo's keep you young. It's true, Einstien proved it!

Another place I usually buy parts from that is usually hard to beat is Promax.

Kirkham is between Preston and Blackpool, my place is 5 mins from Jnc 3 on the M55.
(PR4 2TZ)
Oh. Drat. Nowhere near London then ...

Thanks for the offer tho'. I'd love to have access to a garage like that. If I lived somewhere a bit closer I really would take you up on it.

Kirkham, just down the road from here (Lancaster)

Be on the lookout soon for a 1989 3.2 Carrera (Red of course), will give you a wave.
