Rick I've had it about 4-5 years now. It was built by my mate over in Seattle, he owned the car for 19 years, and then I did some changes to it over here to my spec.
It was an early E originally and I have every bit of history going back to original log book and all previous owners, service receipts etc in a big file.

Shame it did not work out,the car was on carbs rather than slides,and looked like 16 inch wheels,nice though.

The early cars are great fun
At the silverstone classic next weekend in the new pit area,q friday and races sunday in the 1954 356 and the rsr,if any one is around.

That said, obsessed with the idea of a '73 2.8 RSR style car... but all the cars I've seen for sale suggest to me that building my own is a sure fire way to lose money... so I guess I just keep my eyes open.
