OK, I know it's a 924 but it does look more like a 944, and I was invited to post a few pics of my new toy [:)]

I hope you like it, it's a great car as well a very interesting turning point for Porsche.

In 1980 at LeMans, for Porsche it looked like the future could be front engined !!

All three 924's were well placed and most of the 935's did not finish ....

This is one of 9 GTS' that were road registered, the rest (40+) were well raced. Of which 15 were modified with the optional bolt in Ali roll cage, Halon Fire Extinguisher and 1.2 Bar power boost --- and designated GTS Clubsports.

I'll post more pics later --- 917 brakes etc [:)]

Those lollipops look like new!

Chris, the problem you will encounter is that you will not be able to post enough pictures.

Somebody increase the storage size on our servers - we're gonna need a lot of pictures [8D]

What are your plans for it Chris, and I hope they involve some track work?

Pictures, more pictures and even more pictures please [:D]

That is one stunning looking car. Do you have the spec on it as well?

Very nice Chris - looks a really interesting car & very different even to the CGT

Awesome, and I am very jealous. I hope that you are going use it as God intended?!

I should not worry about posting about it on the 944 forum, its far more active that the 924 forum and that's why I post stuff about my 924S racer here as well.

(probably should merge the forums in my opinion!)

Chris, thanks for posting, stunning car.
....can we have an image of the dash showing the Central Rev Counter position please, and the proper needle sweep.
The only transaxle car with the true Porsche Rev Counter position....[:)][:)]
thanks
George

Proud of you...[:)] It was a major oversight by porsche in the otherwise excellent oval dash design Simon, but corrected in the 986 / 996 onwards
