Paul,
Poor show that-even your RO attended []-Mike Pollock was there & took many pics-he usually posts them using Photobucket within days.
Cheers Colin, I'll keep a look out on photobucket

Unfortunately didn't make Oulton today. Hope you folks had a great day?
Any more pics? please
Great day thanks. Colin's advice is sound, unlike his driving!
A couple more of my meagre efforts, hopefully flat6 and others will contribute too.

Take no notice-my e-bay 924S ,uncocooned by electronics,ABS,power steering was exuberantly spun by yours truly approaching Druids as I unfortunately left my braking late & then got on the rather slippy, greasy bit of the road--however with great skill(from somewhere) I did get it back in a straight line ,however the straight line led to the gravel[&o] at least I can go down in history as having stopped a track day session with all the red lights etc.
Having then got my confidence back right at the end of the day ,I was trying to get through Lodge a bit quicker, early turn in rather more drift ,some slighty over correction & a little gyration but got going again.
Just thought I'd tell the stories to try & avoid innuendo from my fellow Team MangeTout guys-but wait until you see the video,if hopefully it gets posted on Facebook.
Comments from drivers of electronic cars-"don't know how I would have got round most of the corners without the gizmos"[]
Mike Pollock has posted on the forum already today.
Regards,
Colin.

Did you manage to collect the grass and dump it over the fence as I have seen you do on other occasions?
Have you considered slot car racing?
My 924S did have power steering but I think that was because it was (still is) an automatic.
Cheers,

No, the Marshall wouldn't let me nor would the wire rake fit in the car.As to slot car racing, that's how I thought it worked at Oulton Park-are you now telling me I was mistaken-I was wondering all day why the car just didn't go round in the middle of the track like I expected.[&o]
Our other grey 924S does have power steering--it was an option as with a rear anti-roll bar-don't know about automatics though.

very good day indeed, save for the spyder rolling roadblock
Flat6 says he's very sorry but it was his first time.
Think I caught a glimpse of you once in my mirrors ;-)

I like that one rob!
and next year I may actually remember to put the sport mode on! doh [&:]
Jezza, that 997 must have an extra turbo compared to the last car. It just disappeared going up hill at the aptly named Hill Top and also after Knickerbrook chicane, the Spyder just ran out of legs (and it's got 8 - groan[8|])
Big reality check last night - let's face it, the collective beauty of Wilson, Easterby and yours truly was never going to impress the extraordinarily pleasant lady at Wilmslow Ferrari!
edited to add - oh yeah - and Jamie has fallen majorly in man love.... with a Spyder!
