I don't quite follow this loud exhuast thing,, my last 2 RS have had standard systems...I turn up at the trackday,,,,,,even at bedford thay vaguely test it as it doesn't sound that loud for them to take it too seriously.

Perhaps I am missing a few bhp and the extra cash in the wallet for not spending out on an expensive exhuast slows me down , but I can guarantee to get on track, where hopefully I can spend time improving my driving in an attempt to close the gap on the advantage a couple of extra bhp would give me! []

Usually 105db and all cars tested, I was told when being tested press clutch pedal and rev to less than told, not something that I'd ever do of course

LHD cars have a slight advantage as you can hold the revs slightly lower and parallax makes it appear that the needle reads higher for aomeone outside tha car. Not so good for RHD though. Shame []
