Porsche Spotting

Red S2 or Turbo in carpark at OK Diner on A1 just outside Stamford, I pulled up in my red square dash. I did think of asking who owned it but didn't want to go around the restaurant embarrassing myself [:D]

I'll bet it wasn't as big as your mate [;)]

Cant argue that, although surprisingly mine was bigger than Dan's last night!!

That probably sounds a bit wrong to anyone other than Rob!! lol, Dan's my son and I'm talking burgers [:D]

Came out of my hotel in Reading this morning to find that my Car had met up with a younger sibling that looked quite tasty all stickered up!

Yes I had cleaned mine at the weekend (that's twice this year so far!), and it was covered in Dew, it isn't that Matte!

I hardly ever see another 944, so was very surprised to see a red 2.7 (F reg) turn up at my daughters prep school this morning. Unfortunately I was in my 911 at the time.

Later I dropped the Carrera off for an MOT and collected the 944 from JMG.

Driving home this evening I spot the unmistakable lights (it was dark) of a 944 ahead. I catch up in seconds (as you do, being in a turbo[;)]). The car ahead turns out to be an E reg car in black. Not an S, so presumably a 8v 2.5. I follow it for a mile or so before it slows and stops, partially blocking the lane. I pull over to see what's up to discover that the poor chap has suddenly lost all gears and power. I push the car, while he sits and steers, into the nearby pub car park. Taking off the leather gear knob surround, and the black rubber surround beneath that, I discover the base on it has simply come away from the linkage - so hooking it all back together provides an instant fix. Rescue accomplished I carry on home, only to receive the usual "what kept you..." when I get home! There's no prizes for being a good samaritan in my house, apparently.

Drove into British Airway's HQ this morning and found an empty space next to a NA spec Left-hook 'S' in a rather nice colour!

Black Lux on London Road near Palmer Park in Reading around 8ish this morning. I was waiting to cross the road to where mine is usually parked.
