Bought my first Lambretta Li150 at Eddy Grimsteads in 1967 at Beehive lane. Bet I wouldn't rec ognise the place today.

Apologies for the reminescing ...sign of getting old [:(] I'll get me slippers

1967? good god man that makes you old. I'm old (or I feel it) and even I wasn't born then!
yeah I guess I'm officially old. I'll be collecting my pension in a couple of years[:D]
I,ve still not grown up yet though so I'm still into my toys . Just restored a Yamaha xs650 and a Lambretta Li150 .[;)]

Spotted a nice clean 944 on the M5 just outside Bristol today guards red not far from the Weston super mare turn off

I worked for Eddy Grimstead Bike shop in 1977-78 at newbury park, and i was born in behive lane way back then...

i used to built the new bikes out of the crates and then PDI them and take them out for test rides dont think there is much of that era i havent ridden,

but i do want my old RD400 back or a GS1000EN

The 944 threads almost make me wish I had one, seems so much fun. Anyway a tweeted picture of a caravanner, anyone on here??

Terry bought it. His son is going to respray it ????? 49/51 not missing it. Got an empty garage where I can put the AX gti buzz boz. Stunning though the 944 is especially the cabrio in red it doesn't have the street cred tht the 996 has. I am not a headlightflasher and anyway these days most peoples reaction to being flashed is to stick two mental digits up to you, plus its a rigmarole raising the headlights etc. In the 996 though you may be going 15 mph slower they mostly pull in when you are about 1/4 mile away; except for the crass two lorry drivers on the A 404 one doing 56.1 mph and the other doing 56.15 mph holding up both lanes took 5
4 miles to get past. That surely is driving without due care and attention. Burchets green slip to the M4...grr

Spotted a very dirty think it was silver 944 on the m25 yesterday between junctions 24-23 going west number plate was HAZ ????

Red Cab on the back of a recovery truck yesterday morning on the A43 heading south. Was dark but looked to be in need of some love.

Crystal Blue (I think) S2 in Ballingdon, Sudbury this morning - G*** VPM I think. I passed you in my blue S2000.

If you're a Sudbury owner then that's three of us that I know of!!

I saw two today first was midday a black turbo in Broadwater. The second this evening was a maroon driving along by Wiston house
