Thanks edd.. just need a confirmed time now.... please be kind... I have to get up at 5.30am every morning as it is saturday is a lie in day... well normally....lol[8|]

John and I are going to be getting to Porscheshop for 9.30, so I'd guess he'll want to leave Hemel by 8.00-ish. Happy for anyone else who wants to join us as long as you're there by then.

Hi Edd, thanks for postcode. Hi Paul, will be there before 0800- hoping the wet weather forecast is wrong. See you guys on Saturday. Cheers Ron Paul- could I please have a register sticker as mine was left on my 86 Lux-thanks.

I can be at Warwick Services for 8.50am if anyone wishes. Car is finally back, but I won't be rushing/thrashing it (it has done 50 miles with the new engine installed after all). Number is 07727 147409 if anyone wants to meet up at either Warwick services or Hopwood services.

For those coming up from the South, Jarman Park is about 2 miles west of M1 Jnt 8 ( Lat 51.748255 Log -0.456263) Not sure how fast Paul is intending to go but my AutoRoute says if we leave at 8:00 we will arrive at Porscheshop at 9:46 I really wanted to be there for 9:30 so will be leaving at 8:00 sharp. I shall now set my alarm for 5:30 []

No way it's 1 hour 45, and we'll be doing a very steady early-morning pace. [8|] 8.00 will be the last leaving time. If you're delayed, we'll be the slow-moving convoy making it's way up the M1.

109 miles at exactly 70 mph (all the time) = 1 hour 33 minutes 25.7 seconds. You have to go some to average 70. I rest my case. [;)]

Ok.. well it looks like I'll be able to make it.. boy what a day.. 6am call for shoot on west wittering beach, back to pinewood to rebuild set on stage ready for sunday call and then after all that I find time to wash the car at 9pm and then spend next couple of hours redesigning my intake system so that I can use the new Pipercross Venom cold feed induction kit.... I MUST BE MAD....[8|][8|] anyway I plan to met up with you guys at Hemel, if I miss you don't worry I'll catch up..[:)] Cya in morning guys Pete

Roadworks north of Bham 50mph with ave speed cameras to 8 miles or so! But its only a couple of miles from the M5

Really enjoyed today, lovely to see all those 944s in one place, thanks for organising it![:D]

Well done to all concerned.. it was a fun day and even the sun came out to say hi for a few seconds good day...:) Pete

Was good to meet you all today. Fantastic event well arranged - thankyou to PCGB and Porscheshop. PSH - sell me your wheels please [:D]

Can't say thanks enough to Ian and all the Porscheshop team for today. Not least becasue they did a run to McDonalds when the burger van failed to turn up! [:D] Well done everyone who braved the early morning rain, and it was good to meet some new owners as well as catch up with many of the regulars. I don't think the poor guys in the workshop had a break from inspecting cars and fixing minor faults for free, and fitting some of the parts that were on special offer. I now have a shiny new exhaust, rather than the rattly old thing that was trying to fall off on the way there. Thanks also to Dave Roberts for, yet again, bringing his race-prepared 944 along for us to drool over. He also brought along examples of his re-trimmed seats, amazing to see how good they can look after a re-trim. We'd like to run this again next year, if there are any things you feel we could include then please let me know. Events are always very flexible, and it's your input that we try to work from. Porscheshop are working very hard behind the scenes with parts suppliers to ensure continued availability if and when Porsche begin to phase out production of spares for our cars, something we will be relying on more and more in the future. It also shows why having a Club is important. This isn't meant to be laying into the people who aren't members, you're very welcome anyway. Just that we do need to keep the momentum going within the 944 community. Porsche, or anyone else, aren't going to be concerned with the odd 944 owner who occasionally frequents a forum. They will, however, work with a Club who have close on 1000 944 owners in the UK, all keen to see the model supported in the future. Most people join the Club because it works out free with the discounts you can benefit from, I prefer to see it as a place that we can all group together and work to keep the cars where they should be - the best-value classic car available today? [8|] A great way to see the year out, it's been the busiest year for 944 events I've seen in my 6 years of membership. Next year is even better, it's all top secret at the moment so if I told you about it now I'd have to kill you, but watch this space. [;)]

Hi All Want to record my thanks to Ian, all at Porscheshop and to John and Paul (the chrome tailpipe does look great - thanks) and everybody for turning up. Great to put faces to the names and refresh previous aquaintances. Mike Jenny and Craig PS Jenny only has a slight crick in her neck now!
