Porscheshop Open Day

Think about 17 944's and Geoff in his 924 were there - most of them on this pic!

Just wanted to add my thanks to those above, well done to paul and the rest for a successful day, a good turn out despite the rain, thanks to Porscheshop for the look around, seems like a good setup there. As always was good to see other 944 nuts and to chat about our cars, probably the last event of the year, hope to have an excuse to go for a drive again soon! Edd

Just thought i would add that i thought the 944 with the LPG conversion was such a cool idea!

Yep - thanks Paul for organising and it was a good excuse to give the car a good thrashing from London and Birmingham and back. I literally had to pop in and out as I had something on in the afternoon in London. Cant wait for some of the club events in 2010. I have attached some photos from the day.

Hi all, Thanks to Paul and all at Porscheshop for organisation -nice to see all cars and people both regular and new faces. New mats look really good an early xmas prezzy to car. Cheers Ron

Hi, Id just like to say a big thanks to everyone who turned out on Saturday, and especially to Gordon & his Pal who braved it all the way from Edinburgh, great to see everyone enjoyed the day & hopefully we can do it all again next year!! [:D] Many thanks Ian, Paul & all at the Porscheshop

And I remember when i had time to look at my '44, its 200 miles away at the moment, still with a broken shock fitted and not removed and off for repair. [:(][:(]

I'm sad I missed this, it would have meant getting up and some ungodly hour to put the fuel injectors back on and doing a few other little jobs but felt like sleeping in past 7am for once! Next 944 event.... I'll be there! You guys always manage to time it so my car is in bits when these things happen!

Dropped in today to get a ball joint that I meant to get on Saturday! The guys were just as helpful, and they enjoyed the open day too. Mike

Pity I couldn't come...it was half term and the family dragged me across the channel, I'm afraid. Maybe next year!?

Me too, only I was up in Edinburgh (I think I saw Gordon on the way down as I was going up [;)] ) Sounds like an excellent day, I hope to make the next one. I have been critical about Porscheshop in the past but it's great to see them making the effort for our cars and fantastic news to hear about future plans regarding parts supply. As long as they really have the parts in stock when people pay for them and ship them out straight away, we'll all continue to be extremely happy [:)]

ORIGINAL: ggaffney ....... as you seem to have had some issues in the past.
This was part of the the point of the open day so that people who had problems could discuss them direct with Ian. Sorry guys, that was your chance, if you missed it that is regrettable but I will not stand for Porscheshop bashing on this forum. Any issues with Porscheshop, or any other supplier for that matter, you discuss it with the supplier you don't use the forum as a whipping post.
