Post Christmas Informal Lunch - Wednesday 28th December

Ray,
I know it's difficult for you at this time -and your wife especially will be be feeling this outrage ,but none the less -Happy New Year.I hope the police can find some forensic evidence to help nail down the scum that invaded your privacy.
Sorry I couldn't respond yesterday but the laptop battery went flat-one point-don't quite understand what I have started?[:-]

sorry to read that Ray. My Mum's house was burgled a couple of years ago and I had to go and sort it out as she was away, a very strange and unpleasant feeling. Hope they catch the perpetrator. It's usually hard to avoid immediate custody for a residential burglary so fingers crossed eh?

Scumbags!

How you must feel I have no idea, but I can guess you and your wife must be devastated.

I hope you manage to find some peace after the shock and the invasion of your privacy. If it happened to us i would like to think that we would search them out and make them pay one way or another!!! But of course finding the scum is not easy.

Best of luck.

Its just not poltically correct these days. Please refer to our Romany cousins appropriately:

Ray,
That's pretty good-"court" instead of "caught"-I was beginning to think it was deliberate[:)]

Rob,
Now it's your turn to keep up-you are a legal eagle,n'est ce pas!-sometimes you go to Caught-offence ? fingers in the pie[8|] In any case, spelling is spelling grammar is something else-me lord!

rob i wished any police lived in banks bl---- cutbacks i wonder how long we can keep this thread going people out there dont under stand this banter and think where slaging each uther off

Ray, how long can we keep it going is a tricky one. Are you looking for maximum replies (63) or hits (540), R18's records for the last 12 months. Either way, we've got a way to go yet! Bit of banter is always good fun.

Colin, I always viewed the spelling police as a subset of the grammar police? On a separate note, if it's not too cheeky and you are coming on Wednesday, can I jog your memory and remind you that last time we spoke, you kindly offered to lend me some sheet music for the piano.

Hope to see you Wednesday gents.

Rob,
I have always associated subsets with the math, not the grammar which is more likely to be associated with the syntax which to my mind doesn't include spelling.
But then your older peers did study Latin to GCE level at 15 yrs old-none of this dumbing down to GCSEs at 16 yrs or more.Sum fings we no betta!

Fancy having the timerity to think you needed to remind me ......I did consider bringing my Yamaha keyboard as well but didn't want to embarrass both of we-however I will bring you a surprise.[;)]

Ray,with careful management this could go on some time, but Rob will probably reserve judgement.
