Just putting up the link to my homepage..it will be (hopefully) updated daily of the progress what's going on as Silverstone Classic gets closer. The original plan only included a re-spray but i just can't help myself so i've added a few more jobs to my list..if you're interested just keep your eyes open for updates..otherwise just ignore..[;)]

www.axl.zoomshare.com and find it under photos "Preparing for Silverstone"..

Past few days..

Measured boot and started cutting the boom box..
Fitted K&N panel filter..

Today..

Took out front seats as they still need re-conditioning..got some Corbeau Forzas going in..

Brilliant I like them.

All I'm doing for the show is having one of those ESS exhausts fitted and maybe an induction kit and that be it can't really afford much else, seeing as I have just changed job and my old work place haven't paid me my full wages, missing 3 weeks pay but I won't bore you with all the details anyway.

Way too keen. I'll have to beat that out of you.

I might get around to washing Beaky before Silverstone - assuming he passes his MOT between now and then.

Keen..it's been like that for the past 5-6 years now..i just can't help it..to be honest i just bought this car for drive around while i get headgasket and clutch release lever and respray done on the white one..but here i am again..putting most of my time and pounds in..[:)]

But the final result is really not up to me - if the paintwork will not be finished on time someone's gonna be left with only 1 ball..the football..[;)]

Will have to give mine a wash too before Silverstone if it stops raining long enough to make it worthwhile [&:] And she almost passed her MOT - needed new rear brake pipes and had a non functioning horn so not too bad I guess. Any further work and mods will be after the meet.

Corbeau Forza Sport 2000 buckets are now fitted..some new pics in album including progress with the sound box..got a long weekend coming up so going shopping tomorrow to get some cloth and hopefully finish the box this weekend..

Late report..just back from pub..went to see Ozzmosis..
Anyways..went out in town this morning to get some speaker box cloth..then changed my mind and decided to get some leatherette..then changed my mind again cause i tripped on this..
Wanna find out? Have a look in my album..[;)]

The box is nearly done now..all there's left to do is screw the amp on and drill a few holes for wiring..updates on site..
Also ordered some bolt covers to replace the rubber strip on rear bumpers..pics to follow of these next week..

Some photo updates from last night..seems to be going well..hoping to get it sprayed saturday morning..
Also got my hands on a set of 951 side skirts..not sure yet if they'll go on this car or will i save them for the white one..

Just got back from garage..got up 2pm yesterday..worked on car a bit..went to work at 9pm..got back home 7am..worked on car a bit..went to get paint and some more stuff 10am..got back home 1pm..straight to garage..well here i am..off to bed now..no strenght tu update album tonight..taking off on trailer towards the booth 8am so i better get some sleep..

I got an MOT. Thought it might be a good idea as the other one was about to run out.

Gave it a sound thrashing before to make sure it was nicely blown through and any glazing was burnt off the brakes.

I admit I did tweak the idling cells a little before it went and got:-

0.215% CO (max pass is 3.5)
112ppm HC (max pass is 1200)

How cool is that?

Good to hear that everything seems to be working out..[:)]
I was banned to do anything with car before tomorrow night - to make sure that the paint if fully cured..only been out of booth about 16 hours by now..wouldn't want to get any fresh scratces on now would i..[8|]
