Proud owner...

With my red RS (now chfs911's car), 5-speed, ~300bhp 3.6, Pzero Corsa on original rims: about 2,57
With my black RS, 6-speed, ~325bhp 3.8, Michelin Cup on original rims: about 2,53

I know a superbly smooth driver (who has raced 911s in the VHC championship) who laps consistently in 2,48, with a car whose specs are close to my red RS, but with 18 inch rims and slicks.

This is why the 2,41 of Duez is quite amazing! He was faster than Von Gartzen, Alzen and Manthey...

As far as I know, the '92 layout was very similar to the layout before the 2004 change of the bus-stop chicane.

I have something to aim for then! 2,41 will take a bit of beating

Il flirtait avec la deuxieme vitesse sur le circuit de Francorchamps [;)]

Thomas is bringing my super new Mags to Spa so will fit MPCs and go for it! [8D]

Quands les poules auront des dents. [:D]

Yep, 2,41 is quite something. No idea how he did this, considering that people consider that three main curves make a slow or a fast lap: Eau-Rouge/Raidillion, double-left and Blanchimont...

BTW, the fast Duez on the track at Spa in '92 is the same as the Duez driving a GT3 in '05 rallies...
