i've managed to get a place at Croft on the 22nd September after i bought the spot from another member who couldn't make it, so i'm sorted now thanks.
You said the 15th September... are you referring to a different track day from ours or got the date mixed up?
paulgabbitus said:Hi all,
I hope we are all.looking forward to the track day.
I have been in contact with Howard Hunt our instructor. . .
I will pay Howard at the end of the day, therefore to make it straightforward would those receiving instruction pay me £20 or £25 cash on the day.
I've suggested that the instruction be given in the order that interest was shown i.e. the order of the list. I'm happy to take the last 10th spot.
Please seek me out on arrival as I'll need your proper names, reg and porsche model/colour which I'll pass on to Howard.

Many thanks.
Is it £20 or £25? Thanks.
Howard charges £250 for the day.
There are 10 of us so £25 each. (I paid £40 at the Porsche track day at Croft this year).
However, after I made these arrangements, it was stated that instruction is going to be available at a discounted £20 on the day.
I am prepared to take a loss and cover the extra cost (the shortfall) if members prefer to pay £20. We may get more time with Howard however, as we have him exclusively for the day. Your choice as to payment then, £20 or £25. . .
Thank you.
Paul G
The existence of other instructors (possibly without the ringing endorsement of those who used Howard at the PCGB track day) at a marginally lower cost shouldn't change any arrangements previously agreed.
Just my 2 cents.

Its just that i've got a friend with an Alfa Romeo giulia quadrifoglio who's interested....although it might breakdown on the way to the circuit anyway!
The day includes other marques, but PCGB members have a specially arranged discount so member‘s places may not be able to be transferred to non-members. Before any such transfer is attempted I’ll check with the organisers and then post further information in this thread.
Thanks

There is no issue with transfers to another member of PCGB - just use the Javelin website ‘driver transfer‘ form.
If no other PCGB members want your place please notify Javelin before 12th September and full refund will be given. Between 12th and 20th September a credit note can be obtained. There is an issue with direct transfer of places to non-PCGB members due to the special discount.
I’ve also sent PMs to individual members who have recently raised this topic in the thread.

I've been a member of the R3 club for a few years now but due to covid and laziness on my part i've never engaged with club events so I'm hoping i can meet up with some of you at Croft this week.
I'm easy to spot as I'm a wheelchair user and drive a Gentian blue Cayman GTS.. i've got a garage spot so it would be great if you find me and say hello
cheers
Sean
Heading down with Claude and meeting Randall at 07:30 at Washington Services Southbound if any others from the Northern Contingent want to meet up? Will be going straight to Croft via the Shell garage near Darlington Hospital, signing on is from 8am with sighting laps at 09:30.
Don’t forget to sign-in online in advance, remember your driving licence and helmet.
I‘m sure everyone is looking forward to the day, and of course we’ll be checking in with you in your garage.
For those without a garage I’m taking a PCGB/R3 flag and pop up banner, so we’ll be easy to spot for parking together - there’s always plenty of space.
The current forecast is for a dry day, fingers crossed it stays that way! If it does remain dry Gillian and I are supplying a burgers and sausage BBQ lunch for drivers and passengers, at no charge, (sorry we can’t supply for accompanying spectators) and there’ll be vegetarian options.
I’ll PM everyone tonight/tomorrow with some additional details and reminders.
See you all on Wednesday.
