My recently acquired pride and joy. My girlfriend thinks I'm having a affair as I'm always out driving her!

Well, thought I should introduce myself :

Foe those who don't frequent the 944 Forum - I'm Mike [:D]

Picked up a 944 Turbo yesterday and joined the club this morning. Here she is for all to see :

Very happy with my purchase, but will be much happier next week once I have my power steering woes sorted out. New hoses needed [] and so the spending begins . . . . . . . . . haha

Welcome, and nice car, this car looks somewhat familiar, did you buy this from peak porsche, thats where I bought my 993 from.

Nick.

I did Nick yes. Known Andy for a while now, and don't mind dealing with him at all. Straight enough bloke I found. PS issues now sorted, onto the next issue . . . . . . .haha. Looking like Suspension and rear wheel bearings are on the cards next, plus a bit of a general service.

Do you go to the meets ? If so, come over and introduce yourself if you see me fella [8D]

Just reviving an old thread as an excuse to post a pic of my car since getting hold of another set of wheels to use for the track [:)].

These are 996 carrera 4 wheels and although not period for a 964 are light and strong and ideal for my Toyo R888s. Thanks to my old mate John (oldtimer) for the inspiration (he has a set for his 964RS). The other advantage is that they only cost me £258! [8D]

Very, very nice-you're becoming a "wheel" queen,Steve-looking forward to seeing them in the flesh ,next weekend.

Cheers,

Colin.

I managed to get this pic of my first porsche an 89 944 turbo next to my current 91 turbo 2 at The Deanwater a couple of months back. I couldn't believe it when it turned up in the car park having last seen it eight years ago when forced to sell to help fund a career change!! Was good to see the old gal still going strong and looking virtually untouched since our time together [:D]. Look after her Damien!!
