R7 Vulcan Bomber Visit: April 19th
- Thread starter supersport
- Start date
Give that we will have 60 for the day it is not going to be possible to find a pub that can cope, so we are going to have a buffet in the hanger with the Vulcan which will be nice. The cost will be about £9 per head depending on numbers, so if you could indicate your interest when you sign up that would be great.
The day will kick off at 11.00 with welcome drinks, I will provide meeting points etc closer to the time, but you will need to be at Robin Hood Airport for 11.00am.
Please add the 2 of us for the buffet in addition to the 2 tour places that we've already reserved.
Thanks,
Steve and Ann

When I have a firm number of people for the buffet then I will know the exact cost.
9 Places left
The Reindeer Inn at Sandtoft, approximately 6 miles north of Finningley would be more than capable of accomodating you all, I beleive, especially if you confirmed your requirements to them soon.
It is quite near where I live and has had a recent large extension. I've not been in lately but it has always had a decent reputation.
It is easy to get to from Finningley even though it is in the 'middle of nowhere' and it is also relatively easy to get on the M180 once you've finished.
Worth a try?
Ian.

Stella Walker and Geoffrey Hales would like to attend the Vulcan Bomber Visit to Doncaster/Sheffield/Finningley Airport on the 19th April 2015.
Mr Hales is over 65 and Miss Walker is over 60 (which is the retirement age for women!).
Look forward to seeing you on the 4th March 2015 at Porsche Centre Leeds.
Kind regards,
Stella & Steve.

I believe I've already paid for 3 for the visit
Thank you for your suggestion Ian, but the buffet is now sorted.
The cost of the buffet is going to be about £8.76 per head, a funny figure so we will round to something sensible when I have finally numbers.

Maybe we are a bit late, but if there are two places left for the Vulcan visit, we would be very interested in joining you. Many thanks, Karl and Julia
