R7 Vulcan Bomber Visit: April 19th

ORIGINAL: Karl Crookes

Hi Mark,

Maybe we are a bit late, but if there are two places left for the Vulcan visit, we would be very interested in joining you. Many thanks, Karl and Julia

Sorry Karl it's been full for ages. The limit is set by the Vulcan people and not me.

Mark, just to confirm we also require the buffet, settle money for buffet when final cost confirmed.

There should be an email going round in the next day or so, with final arrangements for meeting up going out at the end of the month.

The cost of the buffet is going to be £9 per head, you can pay cash when you see me, cheque in the post or by bank transfer.

Well it kept dry, if not warm!

Huge thanks to Tracy for organising the trip, it was fascinating and nice to get so close and learn so much. At about 0.48 miles to the gallon I will never complain about mpg again.

Photos to follow.

A very big thank you to all involved in arranging this visit. Really interesting to learn more about this amazing aircraft and a treat to see it up close and personal. Good buffet too.
