R7 Whitby Fish and Chip Run - April 2nd

Ok guys that's it we are beyond full so no more entries.

We will have to go through trenchers in shifts as we have so many.

We have 49 cars and 91 people booked for lunch [&:]

We will be heading out in groups so when you get your directions they will have a time window to leave on, and note that we cannot park on Endeavour Wharf due to works, but we do have parking booked a little further down the road.

Trenchers cannot handle 90 of us turning up and so for a first time ever we have booked TWO fish & chip restaurants. The first 50 will be going to Trenchers for 2.00pm and the remaining 40 will be going to the Quayside round the corner. They are only able to reserve all 40 from 3.00pm but can take dribs and drabs from 2.00.

So everyone will get directions, on which not only will be a time to leave but which restaurant you will be in.

Marina back car park has been used before charges ÂŁ3 for 2 hours ÂŁ5 for 4 hours.

Will meet meet you in Whitby.

Hi Mark,

I live in Idle, Bradford and was wondering where to meet up?

1st time for me so just want to be certain what the plans are

Thanks

Gary Burn

Hi Gary. I'll let Mark confirm, but I believe the plan is to meet up at Specialist Cars of Malton from 10.00 and then leave at 11.00 for a run over the moors to Whitby for lunch at 14.00. Malton's about 65 minutes from where I am (Adel, just north of the A6120 Leeds Ring Road) so I'll be heading off at 9am. Let me know if you fancy convoying up as I'm guessing your route from Idle will take you along the A6120.

We're happy to do a convoy from the Porsche Centre Leeds, will be setting off from there 9am prompt. Anyone interested in joining us let us know below.

PC Leeds is good for me. We are not in for the meal but will change our original meet up point from Malton to PC Leeds. We have 1 car 2 people.

You are obviously over subscribed but as I live only 2 miles from Specialist Cars I will come over to see you off!

Hi Mark. Our friends car is in the garage, so unfortunately won't make it. This leaves you with a spare space, should someone be looking for a cancellation.

Looking forward to meeting everyone on Sunday.

Simon.

Sorry due to unforeseen circumstances we cant make it this Sunday . We were meeting at PC Leeds and just going for the drive.

Hi we are fairly new members so weren't quite sure of the protocol. We'd like to meet at Malton and then join the run over to Whitby - we will make our own arrangements for lunch from there..
