R7 Whitby Fish and Chip Run - April 2nd

We are still attending, but won't be staying for the food so the places for 2 adults and 2 children won't be required unfortunately. Have to get back early as loads to do at home.

Hi Mark, Carol and everyone who attended today's event. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did. Thanks to Mark and Carol for organising this fantastic event, it was nice to meet a few of you (And your cars!) today and hope to meet more of you at the upcoming events. I'll be seeing the regulars on Weds at The Woodlands. Thanks again šŸ‘

Thanks for organising today Mark, Carol, Rita and John, this event continues its popularity with a record attendance, coupled with the excellent weather, good company and food, a perfect day.

Hi Mark and Carol.

Dee and I had a great day out, very many thanks for all your hard work, Carol's little pink slips were a really good innovation.

Just to echo all of the above comments: many thanks to all those involved in organising what was a great day. Really enjoyed the run across the tops today - the views were spectacular!

Fantastic start to the season, doesn't get much better than that...great cars, great people, great roads, great weather. Credit as always to Mark and Carol for the behind the scenes organising that make these events run so smoothly and are super-enjoyable for those of us lucky enough to attend. Hi, everyone, first I must thank Mark and Carol for a fantastic, really well organised event , my first event of what will hopefully be one of many , met great people with great cars. Was a real honour to be part of.

Thanks to all

Andrew

Massive thank you to Specialist Cars for their hospitality this morning, as always a stunning collection of cars to look at.

Todays event was a record turn out and just about manageable with all the parking spaces taken. It Would be good to hear from people who went to the Quayside for fish and chips.

Sorry for those that we couldn't fit in, we will always try and accommodate where possible but there has to be line in the sand somewhere, and today we hit it. I suspect this will happen more often as we keep growing.

Once again the fish and chip run made an excellent start to the season, another brilliant day out and we raised Ā£212 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Big thank you to Mark & Carol for a super event. Great planning, a credit to you both.

Sick about missing this with Linda being in hospital, especially Carols little pink slipsšŸ˜€

Did see some reprobates off at OPC though.

Will make up for it big style as soon as we can.

Chris

Great day,

to echo previous comments on how well organised it was, as we were led to the tables at Trenchers the staff

mentioned to us how great a job Mark and Carol do.

Thanks all round for the organisation, conversation and wonderful cars.

Enjoyed yesterday even though we didn't do the drive or meal as I got sidetracked looking at a 997 they were selling. No deal though, wouldn't negotiate to where I needed to be. The boys loved looking at the cars and my youngest got to sit in a Ferrari which made his day.

Just to rain on the parade we noticed some clutch slip on my 996T so it is going to have to be replaced with an updated version. The standard one has only done 8000 miles but the car was mapped by a previous owner so little wonder it is slipping. Good job we didn't have fish and chips, the saving can go towards the repairs!
