Hi Fred. I'd be very interested - just need to check with Beloved, as she is the guardian of the diary.ORIGINAL: Fred Hindle
Nick,
I'll try an arrange a group from Lancs and Cumbria to come over. It was a really good day last year.
Cheers,
Auto jumble will be a definate, again let me know if you have items for sale, what we will do is have a designated tabled area for the parts with volunteers running it through the day with a list of parts, price etc
No go on the auto test I'm afraid, will need to much marshalling not to mention insurance etc, sorry.
We are going to make the 25th anniversary of the 944 the focus for this year so lets get a huge number there for the display it deserves.
Watch this space.

Please put me down for the camping please.
Do you know when we will be able to arrive and put a tent up. Did they mention anything about fires etc, I'm thinking along the lines of disposable BBQs.
Have they said where they would have the camping area? From memory, the corner area passed the Porsche parking area would be ideal. But anywhere on grass will do.[]
Cheers,
Fred
You can arrive when ever you want on the Saturday, folk are there from 10am onwards.
It will be good to see you again.
Cheers

(As an alternative to colour what about doing it according to type - Lux, S2, Turbo etc.? )

The easiest thing to do would be to park them up as they arrive and to have some cans of spray paint available in case of incorrect colours. []
Whatever, my 944 will be there.
Cheers,

[FONT=arial"]This year we are celebrating 25 years of the 944 with the largest display of 944s in the North of England, its still not to late if you would like to have your 944 displayed, regardless of its age or condition don't be afraid to let me know, stick a note on here so I can get an idea of how many to expect.
[FONT=arial"]We are having a small traders village which will hopefully be an improvement over the last two years including jewellrey stalls, health products, garden sales, porsche memrobillia stalls, free massage service and club shop, not to mention the massive support we get from John Hawkins and his crew who will be carrying out free vehicle checks as well as the usual sales and displays they offer as well as something a bit special, so something for every one.
[FONT=arial"]We will also be having some live music from the Army Cadet Borneo band as well as our usual sounds and music from local musician Nick Bradley.
[FONT=arial"]If you want to take part in the show and shine I'm taking details now so let me know.
[FONT=arial"]I also need to know who has items for the auto jumble to see if its worth having a stand for this or leave it to individual people to have items with their car.
[FONT=arial"]We will also be having a bigger and better bird show this year with two displays during the day.
[FONT=arial"]Finally I am organising an area where owners can show their cars to visitors (hopefully a Porsche from each model line) where the owner is willing to let visitors see in and around their vehicles and answer questions etc, please let me know if you would be interested in taking part in this aspect of the day.
