Ragley Hall Tickets

ORIGINAL: Mark Bennett

so I was really looking forward to being able to have a go at this for once. [&o]

I'm brilliant on grass and gravel so come and have a ride with me if you like [:D]

So are a lot of people staying over the night before? I hadn't intended to, but if there's good company for a few glasses of pop then I might make the tripo the day before.

Still no sign of tickets for me..will go to the UK GN'R gig saturday night in Luton..don't know yet if we;ll stop there for the night or move somewhere closer..

No need to get a hotel,
You'll still be waiting for Axl to come on stage by Ragley opening time, if my past experience is anything to go by

I know just what you mean, they kept me waiting for 4 hours once when we went to see them in Manchester years ago. On this occasion though, I think our Axl will be waiting a long time for G'n'F'n'Rs Axl to come on stage - the one in Luton is a tribute band.[;)]

Maine Road?
I thought Faith No More were excellent!

Didn't realise it was a tribute band this time. Does the tribute Axl emulate the real one's timekeeping? [;)]

Ah, different one - I think the one I saw was 1995 with Sound Garden as the backup band. I'd have loved to have seen Faith No More.

Good point. In which case, we might not see the PCGB Axl till sometime mid afternoon!

I don't know about trade passes, but I did ring PCGB on Friday and they were working frantically to get all the tickets posted that day.

I wonder how many of us will bedoing an extra cleaning session on our 944s this week before Sunday[8|][:D]

Not me, I may give the Jeep a quick hosing down before I set off.

Can anyone tell me what (if anything) is happenning for a get together on the Saturday evening. I shall be at Warwick that night but don't know the area. Would be good to put some faces to names.
Cheers

Beloved and I will be in Bristol for a few nights before the festival, so we won't be able to meet up till the day itself, but I know who you are anyway!!

See you and yours at Ragley then George.

But it would be good to meet up with other devotees on the Saturday evening - or even during the day.

Cheers,

Bah, I wish I could make this event. Since getting my own 944 I haven't even seen another on the road, much less waved to anyone. [:D]

There is a slim chance I might make it now, not in '44 but I definately wont be in the falklands until middle of October now, should be in scotland but might be able to detour through Ragley on the way. Fingers crossed
Tony
