Ragley Hall Tickets

I will be stopping off at Ragley Saturday afternoon to bags an area for the 944's if anyone wants to join me - I'm not suggesting we have to pay to get in for this. If that is the case, it will wait 'till Sunday.

If you want to meet me at Ragley Saturday I am sure we can find somewhere there abouts for a bit of an evening nosh.

I'm afraid I haven't really been paying attention[:)], and as I can't find what I'm after on the website can anyone tell if there's going to be a problem paying on the gate? I guess it'll be a bit more expensive, but can I still get into the 944 parking area so I can lower the standard of cars on display [;)]

I would have bought tickets in advance but I'm going to the Brighton speed trials on Saturday and maybe a bit knackered to head norf on Sunday.

I have to admit having read the other thread John refers too I'm not entirely I like the way the event is being run, which makes me less inclined to miss out on a potential days work, but we'll see how I feel in the morning!
 
I was blissfully unaware also of the latest PCGB created fiasco and accompanying Club rift. Do the directors not like it when things are quiet and harmonious or something, or are they really just imbeciles?
 
I'm so tempted to read that thread properly but so far I have resisted and am staying in the 944 forum. At least I know we are all bonkers in here [&:]
 
Everyone must read that thread. Not only does it raise questions over the PCGB decision makers It also makes a smug 928 owner look like a childish fool! _ Hilarious [:D]
 
To be fair this isn't about anyone's decisions. The 928 ticket story is one thing - and a small mistake maybe - but not the issue.

One person has chosen to be a complete wind-up merchant and has caused everyone to get a little agitated. It is a great example of democracy in action, and a credit to the Club the way everyone has joined forces to jump on the trouble maker's head. I only hope that the admin take the opportunity to free up the 928 forum and give it over to the real owners rather than one idiot's rantings!

Roll on Ragley, and forget the small mistakes of the decision makers!

It transpires there is a wedding at Ragley on Saturday so we won't be allowed in to set up the Register area .......so it has all the makings of being a right laugh on Sunday.

I am still going up that way though so the offer of a "Gathering" still stands.

What ever happens we should have lots of cars for a good ole tyre kicking on Sunday so it is going to be a great event.
 
I'm really looking forward to the nitrous talk given by an especially knowledgeable chap who has gone on record as saying "its sort of competing technology, as there is only so much space for combustion in a cylinder" when asked about combining it with supercharging.[:D][:D][:D][:D] I expect to learn a lot. None of which I expect will be factual...[8|]
 
A "pre-Ragley" gathering would be cool on the Saturday if we manage to co-ordinate things.

I just have one minor technical hitch to sort out - my next door neighbour is building an extension and have just got home to discover several tonnes of sand sat on our shared driveway which means at present I can't even get my '44 onto the road let alone to Warwickshire [:mad:]

Guess I need to go have a few words.....

I don't know exactly where you are all staying but Silverstone is no more than 45 mins from Stratford and the night racing in the Britcar 24HR could be a good meet (especially with 944s and 968s in the thick of it)
 
Well I had words and he promises it will all be out the way in good time. He is a good bloke and am sure he means it but as of this moment the sand is still there[:(].

He has a lot of shovelling to do.
