Revalving 964rs shocks

Don't go too harsh on the camber. You really need to check it on track having temps across the tread and pressures checked after a session.

Chris from CG did this for me at Donny and his readings confirmed that the set up on my Cup more or less spot on. Pleased about that since it was done by feel and tyre wear and no set figures!!

He commented during a ride out that the set up is not as hard as it could be and feels that is what makes the car so drivable on different tracks. He commented that a lot of people have far too firm a set up and that's what makes driving some of these cars a b1tch!

I had my shocks reconditioned a coupla years ago and they (GT-One) managed to replicate the pre service set up no prob

yeah you drive a cup, I have an RS... your inserts can easily be reconditionned where I need a complete unit

+1. I've even seen that on my 'soft' C2 running KWV3s. I firmed my suspension up before a trip to Donny which produced a lot more understeer than I was used to in the slower corners. The car need fairly brutal inputs to get it to turn enough. So I then softened it up for the subsequent trip to castle combe. Turn in and change of direction was so much sharper and it coped brilliantly with the fast bumpy corners like Folley.

All other things being equal, I'd say go 3 degrees on camber, I'm at 2.5 F and R and dont run enough camber, by tyre wear and temp across tread, so am getting mine upped. Plus I'm not as quick as you!
