Happy New Year to all

Well they've enough footage to make me look like a complete muppet if they so choose.... so it should at least be entertaining!

I take it you havent seen it yet then! Even better, I dread to think how I would come across on TV, I think they can twist what they choose to put in so much, that you are sitting duck.

I've never said this to another man but "Nice helmet Rick!". [:D]

I guess you've gotta keep that sun off somehow... [:)]

My God - that looks scary already!!! I used to think my Formula Jedi was bit iffy in terms of safety, but looks like a slow bus in comparison to this!!!

Breathing is a bit of an issue... you'll see they put a camera over my left shoulder and when we "go for launch" in the local parlance you can see my cheast heaving as I try and avoid hyperventilating... most of that is because with head jammed right onto chest I'm unable to move and when they close the lid, it's pretty claustrophobic.
But hey... it's worth it for the rush!

Sky set to series record.......bare in mind this is one of two programmes...

For those outside of the UK for whom the iplayer will not work... the taster is on you-tube now here:

However... since you'll not get to see the programme anyway.... why torture yourselves? ;-)

Thanks for the kind words chaps... give you some idea what an incredible (y scary) thing it is to drive... my hair stands on end each time I watch the clip... particularly when u can see the front end wandering around at speed!

10pm Sunday... I remain a tad nervous...

Rick
