Well Guys 2006 is approcahing and the Calender for next year seems to be taking shape as to events track days etc....I would think the above trip as a Register Trip and open to all Registers (Maybe we could persuade those really nice 993RS boys to join in) would be a great whizz particulalrly if Spa or another event could be incorporated en route. Bearing in Mind England's victory in the World Cup over Germany which finishes 7thJuly think soon after this would be agood time to go weather etc. Theses are just my thoughts and find the fun starts from the moment we all meet at the Tunnel. Would be great to get a big convoy (Fifty Cars!) so obviously other Registers joining in. Need your input and interest to take further. Hotels and Ring rates very reasonable as we all know but would need to book early Jan.

We visited the Ring in May of this year and tied it in with the Porsche festival weekend at Spa which the Porsche Francochamps Owners Club organise, it was a great trip. We spent the whole of Saturday taking the cars round Spa in groups of equally able drivers in 45 minute sessions and then made our way to the Ring later on that evening.
The ring was open all day Sunday and we spent a great day there too, stayed at the Dorint hotel which overlooks the GP circuit and a section of the Ring, not too pricy. The group of us (11 cars in total) then drove home on the Monday morning.
I don't know if the festival is being planned for 2006 but if it is I would be very interested in making a weekend out of this trip again, and to have 50 or so cars that we could join up with would be great.
Better bring loads of towels to reserve those parking spaces in the ring car park a la sunbed style []

Hi Des
Autotrack organise a great track day at SPA, they have some dates at the end of May which people are expressing an interest in (30/31st I think). I went last year and went to the 'Ring after that - great trip and always a really ood turnout of Brit 911s. Several people have expressed an interest this year so combine the trip - 'Ring + SPA, doesn't get much better.

If you guys want a good ring trip, why not rma event in march,2days on the ring, cheap instruction by the one and only sabrina and others.1 or 2 days at spa before the ring is also optional.
We go with rma every nov,and will be going this next march.
If enough is interested,i can always try and get a better deal with graham.
All have a great xmas, and i do hope you get some nice presents to sort the power and handling of your 64 cars out.[]
