Hi There,

Simon Merrett here ! As mentioned by JAY964RS rep.
Just to say hello........ and does anyone going along to Rolling road have any objection to 911 & Porsche World running a photos shoot and a feature on the day please? I have provisionally set it up, however if anyone objects I will consider asking them not too appear.
I think for most of us, it would be a great oppurtunity to show off our cars in the great magazine !

Thankyou, & looking forward to meeting you all.........

Simon.

Hi,

Over the weekend period....... no-one has objected, so it looks like I will be confirming 911 & Porsche World to attend.

Any objections?

Simon.

Hi

I personally have no objections, but I am not a spokesperson for the region or the club. You may want to check with Charlie at Surrey Rolling Road as his premises we are using.

924nutter - do you want to add anything?

Regards

Tony

Hi Tony,

Just spoken with Charlie and he is fine with the magazine having a presence.

Apparently we are advised to meet at the premises ready for 10am, he opens then. He is aiming to run 4 cars/hour and has time available until 1pm. He then has some mapping to do with customers he tells me, but if there are more cars turning up in the afternoon he will try & fit them in.
If any 964/993 owners can remove engine undertray it would be very helpful for him, if not he will manage.
Can you confirm numbers and car types with Charlie please.

Thankyou,

Simon.

See you all there and no doubt we will have a great day and some great figures!

It should be an interesting morning with a variety of models. I am sorry that the 993Ts cannot join us - the main reason being trying to keep the air-cooled units cool.

Not much more to add, only that you should check your oil and water levels are topped up and wheel studs are secure!
