Currently trying to decide whether to rendezvous at South Mimms or Peterborough. Actually given the different travel times to the two it would appear that which ever I choose the time at which will need to stagger out of bed is pretty much the same so am leaning towards South Mimms. Who else is planning to meet up there ?

Indeed - not had the chance to enjoy a good 944 convoy run since the last of the Goodwood Breakfast/South Coast runs. Really should resurrect those. []

If I can get away from the office on Friday I'll see if can dig mine out of storage. It's not been out for 4 months, nor on a charger, so the battery will be flat. But once I'm over that minor hurdle, I should be free on Sunday to bomb up to Rutland. Is there a plan for the non-White-Horse-eating brigade?

The cafe at Rutland right next to our car park does good grub and is a cosy warm place to eat coffee and cakes if the chill takes hold.

I was wondering... As we've got 50 or so cars together, whether it would be a good opportunity to buy/sell/exchange all those spares that are piling up in the garage, without having to pay postage costs and faff around with packaging & going to the post office.? I know I've got some stuff looking for a good home. Could start a separate thread if people think it's a good idea.

I'm putting myself in the "unlikely" camp I'm afraid. Having looked at the map, it's almost an 8 hour round trip from my place. Which is probably as many hours as I did in my 944 in the whole of last year! But, I have now firmly arranged to collect the 944 tomorrow and bring it home, so at least I'll have the option of attending. Just not sure how keen I am on a 5.30 am alarm call on Sunday! Maybe I'll just use it to nip to the pub on Sunday so I can raise a pint to you all.
