Andy - I agree wholeheartedly, I love this car.
What colour is it now?

This is my favourite early 911 (although it's now no longer silver) :

I like everything about it except the exhaust which looks like an Ansa aftermarket exhaust. I had a 911R photo saved up for posting on a later date [:)]

Why do my pictures appear as thumbnails not full size? What am I doing wrong?

Folks, what wonderful cars, puts my picture collection to shame, the recurring theme here is that they are all how do I say this, older classics, no newbies have made it yet

MdR asked:"Andy - I agree wholeheartedly, I love this car.

Martin - it was recently repainted metallic blue by its new owner.

Agreed, what was he thinking, the silver rocked.

On with the show, I like this clean bumpered 89.

Yes, std bumper with all pads removed and holes filled. There are 12 holes IIRC and the mounting has to be changed to avoid having big nuts and washers showing. I can separately post pics of mine bare of all rubber over the next couple of days.

To further answer the question above, here is the problem with trying to get the smooth bumper look in a 3.2 - namely about 10 holes to fill.
