Silverstone Classic - Accommodation

ORIGINAL: gonzosquidgy

Am I right in saying that the Silverstone tickets can only be purchased in advance (cut-off 31 March) and they're £48 for car and 2 people with PCGB discount code?

John I have no idea on the prices, but you do need to by in advance and the early bird is cut off at 31st March. There are two codes, C13216 which I think is the BOGOFF offer and C13911 if you want your car to be in the 911 Parade. If you don't use the codes then you won't get the required passes to allow you infield or on the track.

If you don't use the parade code you will not be allowed in the parade, and those in the parade will be parked separately on Sunday morning but will region the rest of the club after the lunch time parade.

Your on your own if your off to Macdonalds Mr Chappell, I'm off across the road to the Sixfields Hungry Horse.

I have to say Chris bet you can't remember the last time you were refered to as a BOY [:D]

Steve

Why not just have our own sub-event? We could call it YTOT. Yorkshire Tighta***s On Tour.
Maybe we should get some T-shirts printed.

Lisa, I think I look better in high heels than Dan!! Don't you think?
As for Mr.Chappell and Mr.Tomlinson..............who knows???

John

If you Lisa or Michael plus Mr Chappell think I'm driving 180mls down to Silverstone in heels you've got another think coming,

so I'll leave it up to you guys to guess which of us will be wearing the heels. [:D]

Steve

It's OK Steve. Just wear your flatties for driving. You can change into your heels when you get there. Secrets safe with us. Nobody reads this anyway.

John - definitely! Besides, I'm guessing Dan's more bothered about his reputation than you!

Steve - Michael's right, he's seen me do it many a time, I never let heels get in the way of my fair share of driving M666!

I hope you don't mind but my wife, Gill and I have just booked into same Travelodge for the Classic, at £41 for 2 nights it was too good to miss. Its quite likely that other members of R6 (North Wales) will do so too.

Of course not, Nick, R7 don't have exclusive rights, the more the merrier! Now aiming to get the Travelodge car park full of Porsches, now wouldn't that be a sight!

Look forward to seeing you and your GTS at some point over that weekend (or perhaps see you in Llandudno in April).

Michael & Lisa

It seems that we now have 5 couples booked in for the classic and staying at the Travelodge! Three of us arrive on Friday and the others are staying just Saturday night. We are unsure as to the Gala ball at the moment, its about 12 miles to the venue fron the hotel.

Looking forward to the weekend, most of us will no doubt be at the Llandudno Porsches on the Prom and I gather many of you will be there too so it will be nice to meet up.
