Silverstone Classic - Accommodation

Is there any interest in those staying at this hotel in attending the Gala dinner, I believe it's about 12 miles away but, from the sound of it there would be enough of us to hold our own more locally?
 
To my count we have 20 rooms booked so far, there some not on the forum.

Personally we are not interested in the gala dinner as we have an 8 year old in tow.

I'd be perfectly happy with a nice evening meal, but a full blown gala dinner, with all the bells and whistles, no thank you.

Same here. No, to Gala Dinner. Must be a Beafeater or something nearby. Are we meeting up Saturday for drive down in convoy?
 
Hi John check out The Hungry Horse it's only about 500 m from hotel hope its Beef in their burgers not Horse or we could be saddled with a big bill

Seriously, I have counted up 14 bookings on this thread. I have all surnames and I will ring Travelodge tomorrow to let them know that we may all be checking in late on Saturday and for them not to book out our rooms to non-Porschey people who might arrive earlier. Again, won't be our fault if they do but at least we will have tried to make things easier for everyone.

Look forward to seeing most of you bright eyed and bushy tailed early doors on Saturday at Woodall.

If we stay out till 3am then get up at 5 we haven't got long to realise how minging it is especially if we're well trousered.[8|]
 

Down from Scotland for the Classic, staying in the Northampton Travellodge with by the sounds of it a whole lot
Of other PCGB members. Sadly not in our 911 as we have our 2 boys with us, hard to fit a 6ft 16 year old in the
Rear of a 911, if I could I would. So we are in our family wagon, Cayenne Turbo. If you see us say Hi.

We do like slumming it :)) Love our Cayenne , they can now be bought for not a lot of dough ( peanuts for what they can do)
And are superb in every way, but we can't do the parade as its not a 911 :-(

Only 2 more sleeps, see you all there.
