SUGGESTION, whether youre coming down anti-clockwise or clockwise on the M25 to get here use the A21. On your way back use the M23, as you will be departing from Brighton, the last bit also applies whichever way round the 25 youre going home on.ORIGINAL: SianB
John,
If anyone else is coming from South London, how about the Crawley junction of the M23?
Sian
If youre looking for a meeting point on the M25 coming from the Heathrow side prior to the A21 then Clackett Lane services would be a good choice.
Hope that helps...

I think I am going to be able to make it now as well, might well be late, but as I am travelling from the west will try and catch you en-route,
Tony
Most excellent news. [] Also, I've just finished a refurbishment cost analysis for a Client that I thought I would have to do tomorrow evening so I can enjoy the day all the more. And.......
Beaky has his new splitter on [].

Coming around the M25 clockwise, we will actually exit the M25 at junction 5 onto the A21 which we will then follow pretty much all the way to Hastings.
According to Autoroute, assuming we depart Lakeside services at 09:06 (some hope) we will join the A21 at 09:21.
Spookily, Autoroute also suggests that you would use the A21 coming anticlockwise around the M25 (That's a kind of polite way of saying "What the hell are you doing going down the M23?" [])
Radios to channel 500 - Do you copy? Come back.
I'd had a couple of shandies when I posted that M23 nonsense yesterday!
We will indeed be using the A21 and we'll remember the radios!

Sorry I was a little late this morning, but thanks for an excellent day. I don't know how Keith managed to organise the weather so well, but I don't think I saw a single car with its roof still in place [] Targa -tastic
There was an awful lot of traffic around, but the road after Beachy Head was lovely and twisty, clear of traffic and had beautiful views
Top day - sorry if I scared anyone with my ABS testing

A big thanks for a great turnout yesterday, its a genuine pleasure to have your company for the day. Hope you all had a good drive home, without incident. Sincere thanks again, Regards[]
Superb event Keith. Many thanks for sorting it out for us. Must dash now but will wax lyrical, and perhaps post a few picies, this evening.
Regards to all, and here's to the next one.

Ditto here. Sorry I had to leave at the Beachy Head stop but had other arrangements later in the afternoon. Thanks for leading Keith, hope you all enjoyed the run after Beachy Head (bit bumpy in places though, I know). The South Downs are beautiful aren't they?
Good to meet up with people I only new as a name on the forum.
cheers .......... Phil

The bit after Beachy Head was my favourite, it was mercifully traffic free for a few miles so we were able to have a 'little' bit of fun [] Rick was at the back in the camera car so we may have some vid footage soon.
