Delrin is acetal from memory (worked in plastics industry a long time ago) That wouldnt be used for bushes, it is tough but completely rigid plastic, not flexible like poly bushes or rubber
 
There are bushes and there are bushes

IIRC they have a shore rating and not all are alike

Cheaper ones are rock hard with little resilience and will transfer loads into the subframe/chassis with potential fatigue issues.
 
Yup, shore rating dictates how hard or soft they are. From memory the lower the number, the softer they are but then I think you get A, B and C ratings too, just to confuse things!

I am indeed! It's a sloooow process[;)] You'll find me on Mk1 Golf OC too, helped set that up in 2004. Were you on there with same user name? It rings bells
 
Me too - finding time is the issue.

Same name on all my forums.

Current problems with injector trigger from ECU (ABF into Mk1)

Can't help you I'm afraid with that one Paul, I'm a bit of a standard geek so knowledge is limited on mods. Have you tried MK1 forum for answers?
 
2 days solid testing and I now think its an intermittent break somewhere in the injector permanent positive
