911s still needed for photo shoot at Bruntingthorpe on Wed March 16th at 1030. Apparently you get a one year subscription and copies of the professional photos taken.

Interested? Let me know

Hi,

Just joined the club today. I would be interested if they want a rust free LHD palisander with full beige lthr turbo alloys whale tail etc. Car is mint.

I'll be there with my SC. I have had an e-mail off Jeff confirming details. I believe there will be about six of us.

Hi guys,

I'm looking forward to this alot. As i'm motoring up from Southend in Essex, does anyone know of a hand car wash near Bruntingthorpe ?

Graham

Not sure about a car wash near Bruntingthorpe, it's a bit in the sticks.

I'll have a drive over at the weekend and let you know if I find somewhere.

I think from memory the nearest car wash is in a town called Wigston, about 8 mile away.

If I can't find anywhere you are more than welcome to come over to my house prior to the shoot and use my hose!!![;)], I'm about 20 miles from Brunt., place called Rothley.

Am looking forward to it aswell. Could i be cheeky and gatecrash the car cleaning. Driving from Manchester so car will be filthy by the time i get there.

The more the merrier.

If there's no local washes near Brunt. I might have to grab some kids of the street to help!![:D]

Thanks Rob. I plan to give it a good wash and wax prior and i'll bring a few bits with me as well but a quick wash down on the day would be nice !

Are either of you bringing crash helmets as i think there'll be time for a few laps ?

fyi - my mobile no. is 0771 362 3516.

Ooo eck!!! Crash helmets. Don't have one, but could possibly find one. Hope the old girl can take it. This has forced me do some jobs i was putting off. New rear tyres, good wash and wax. Don't think i could keep up with you boys in your tricked up 964's. Do you know of anyone else going?

No, other than Jeff and us three i have no idea. I understood that they wanted a broad range of 911's.
I don't think you need worry about keeping up. I've never tracked my car but fancy having a few laps

I have a helmet and my mate that is coming with me is bringing one, so if your head is as oddly shaped as ours feel free to borrow either of them whilst we're taking a break.

Never tracked mine either, fancy giving it a go though.

I don't know about 'tricked up', just bought a new air vent does that count???

Just told Mrs H I'm going to buy a new helmet, should've seen the smile on her face

See you soon

Rob

John / Melv,

Hopefully you both can make the date. I'd love to see the GT3RS and i saw you're Cup Car Melv at the Maztech day last year but on a trailer isn't the same is it.

Just need more info when it comes thru Graham!!

i.e. times etc., and EXACTLY what they require, as have to arrange a dog sitter for the day!! (Any volunteers? One Weimy, one Pointer X, nice house in Surrey......;)

Yep, it's not the same on a trailer [:D] Mind you, the car is no stranger to Brunters, having managed 173mph down the runway on a Pistonheads VMax Day [;)]
