Total911 photo shoot

blimey.. I'll admit when i saw there was a 2 mile stretch that idea crossed my mind. Well it's not something you can do on our Majesty's highway is it ?

Not unless you've got the local constabulary on your wage sheet[:D]

Looks like we're taking over this shoot.

I hope everyone involved on this topic can make it, it would be nice to put faces to people, and see others cars esp. the gt3rs and your cup car Mel.

Can anyone recommend a sensibly priced helmet (careful)[;)]?

Also, there are a few very nice pubs around that area, how's about getting together (if we're not sick of each other) for a few shandies afterwards?

Rob

I would be up for that. Sound like it will be a good day. Got my old girl being checked over on Tuesday to make sure she is top notch for the day!! Got to compete with the exotica turning up

Hi Rob,
Are you the organiser for this day and if so can you post extra info such as start time , meeting point etc.
Many Thanks

John

Hi John

Sorry, not the organiser.

The person you want is Jeff the comms director at PCGB.

But the details I have are meet at Bruntingthorpe for 1030 on the 16th March.

As far as I know they want as many different 911's for a comparison test against a 993 I think, there is a list on the forum somewhere.

Look forward to seeing you.

Rob

BTW Dan and Graham,

Been for a quick drive round this morning and there are car washes around the area but couldn't find any hand washes, most where IMO type places. Mail me if you want to pop round prior to the shoot and we'll sort something out.

I had assumed they were after older 911s - would they be interested in a 996 C4S Cab?

From Admin at the top of the Fourm:

"I will be on holiday with limited access to email/Internet until 8th March - Nic will be looking after things but please be patient... "

Comms from Jeff:

BTW, the runway is 3000m / 9843 yds long (by 60m wide), so just 239yds short of two miles!! I promise you, at >160mph it doesn't feel long enough!!
