Hello Gary,

Only in recent weeks have I got onto this forum. I live in Cardiff and Llandow is about 15 mins from my home. I recently acquired a new 997 C2 with PDK so just really now looking at the forum.

I wouldn't mind coming along to Llandow socially and meeting up, I don't wish to drive on the circuit as never done it before but I would like to see what is involved. Also, the social bit would be good, and I'm up for the drive on the Sunday.

There would be 2 attending if there is space. Please advise the payment.

The Vale hotel certainly is a good venue, though I won't be needing that!

Please let me know.

Steve

Hi Steve
Go on! It's for beginners/novices etc etc. Should be nicely run in by then. You'll really appreciate the PDK on track! My other half has never driven on track before but she's going for it at Llandow!

Steve
Welcome to the 997 register and our little corner [:D]

You're most welcome to pop along on the day and indeed join us for the Sunday drive out [;)]

I agree with Alan (obviously[;)]) but I know that when spectating you'll be kicking yourself for not having a go [:)] I know I always do [;)]
The event is aimed at exactly people like yourself, who may want to try and have a go in a safe enviroment and learn about their own cars performance.

The event is free to come and spectate and we've never yet charged for a drive out with like minded people so please to pop along and join us, many if not all of us will have our partners with us, so a social time all round.

Hi Gary,
I must admit to being tempted, but I think for this first one I'll just spectate, even though I could well kick myself.
When I see what you guys get up to I may well participate more on a subsequent day.
But socially I would like to participate, my wife would come along as well.
If there is anything locally here I could help with let me know. I'd be happy to help.
Re costs just let me know.
Thanks
Steve

I have had a confirmation from the club this week and I'm pleased to say we have 16 persons booked and paid for.
We do still have places which will hopefully be taken up as time goes on..
So if you have a 997 and are interested in joining us on the social day, please do contact us.

Hi Gary

Been trying to sort my diary out to get this weekend free, and have now succeeded. So I now have a very rare and expensive weekend pass so I can do the track day in South Wales and the Brecon Triangle Drive.

However I now see that the drive is full, so what say you squeeze another one in?

I will be +1 for the numbers if you able.

Was hoping to go to Blenheim today, but weather just turned rather wet so may go later or sometime Sunday.

Thanks

This event is only FOUR weeks away
We can still cater for any additional people interested in taking part in this event.
Its a great chance to learn about your 997 with like minded enthusiasts

You can email if you have any questions or post below..
