Trackday-RS day Oulton Park,,09.

ORIGINAL: legaleagleboy Nick - was that you parked up on the spectator area near Druids last March? If so, wonderered who it was - thought it was Stu but wrong Reg. paul f
That could well have been me, yes. I managed a few pax laps last year and am looking forward to catching up with all frontrunners there!

Suggestion: We could gather after the trackday for a meal at the Alvanley Arms. [link=http://www.alvanleyarms.co.uk]www.alvanleyarms.co.uk[/link] To get this idea going post here: [link=http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=422025&mpage=1&key=&#427747]www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=422025&mpage=1&key=&#427747[/link] paul f

Peter -- hope the spannering is going well - must be manic considering the scale of your project! To confirm the arrangements for a meal at 6pm immediately after the trackday -- just look here and post as appropriate on that thread. now 8 days to go -- will Peter make it in the project car? is JP's 968 the most powerful n/a one in the land? what side orders do you want when devouring GT3's? will the weather be kind to us? who might turn up for some pax laps? so many questions - all will be answered shortly! any more takers for the evening meal, directly afterwards? see above. convivial chat is promised amongst like minded petrolheads - does it get better than that?

Hey can some of you guys get some in car video to show us around Oulton Park? C'mon Big Dave I know you've got a video setup in your car by now [:D]

Hi Paul. It's looking very dicey that the white car will make it. The exterior is being painted tomorrow so there's going to be a mad panic to have it ready []. It's not impossible, just very unlikely in my opinion as there's far too many potential problems. Naturally I'm really gutted. At least there's a fall back option, but the poor red car isn't going to know what hit it... <evil grin>

Pat. Yes ill have the vid set up + working....[:D] Paul. Have you spoken to JP since last Friday.??? It "might" be a powerfull 968. BUT thats not to say he,ll be THE fastest...[;)][;)][;)] Lets hoping itl be a dry day... + an enjoyable one....

Like most of us Dave only shows video clips when he's not being constantly passed [;)] Needless to say we haven't seen many of Daves clips :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:[:D] (I know he's bigger than me, but he's miles away)

Nice one Paul. Its actually because i havnt sussed out the You tube thing yet....[8|][8|][8|]

It's easy Dave. You create an account and just look for the Upload feature. Have you downloaded your film onto your PC? If so you can do it now. I don't think you can do long movies and it takes a while to upload, but you too can become a household name. [:D]

I'll certainly be there and looking for as many pax laps as I can blag![:D] I'll be in the 944 but bottled out on sharing track space with those RS nutters after watching them last year... Mind you, I'll bring my lid, just in case....[:D] NB RS nutter is obviously a term of affection/respect![;)][:D]

I have really messed up, I am starting the RS day in Norfolk, I think I will have too curtail my meetings and hotfoot it back up to Oulton ASAP on the Friday.

Peter -- wasn't it your shout at breakfast???? You can't get out of it that easily - unless of course, you have an Absence Form signed by everyone on here (no chance!).

Given what I will be doing, buying you lot breakfast would be far more preferable!! I will try to get to Oulton before it goes dark.
