Pretty certain that is the same car that Throttle Shop (aka Shark) had for sale recently. Maybe another name for same business.
In fact, yes, it must be as it has The Throttle Shop watermark on photos.
And Buchanan before that ?

I wasn't wrong to put the clown on 'ignore' then? I only ever did that once before, with James Scott when he went mental... []
Please don't mention Scotty. Several admins had to undergo therapy after trying to help him. [&:]
I really liked Mark's input as a trader. I know it's easy to knock people for making a living from what we see as a hobby, but I felt it added another side to the 944 world. We're too keen to shoot people down sometimes, and we lose out IMO.

I agree, I enjoyed sharks input, he is a dealer what ever that means, lots of us are dealers in some way and those of us that are have to make a living, nah a profit, from buying and selling, some things sell themselves because the product is very saleable some things have to be sold, but at the end of the day a living has to be made. And as we all should know by now no matter what we are buying. Buyer Beware.

The Sale Of Goods Act 1979 would suggest otherwise.

....but only if you use your common sense in the first place. It has it's limitations.

I think that the username Shark summed him up. Arrogant and full of what he knew whilst not actually knowing much and not appearing to be particularly nice.
He who cant be named, on the other hand, was just a misguided wally. Oddly, the cars may soon end up holding the status that would have befitted HWCBN's attitude and outlook. []

What happened to "Shark"? I have noticed that he hasn't posted anything during the short time I've been back (well, not really
back but, you know what I mean) [8|]. Has he fallen foul??
Hi Pete,
He does log in now and then, not for three weeks though. []

Too many comments here are just unpleasant, and that's why people don't post, or leave the forum. Genuine discussion is fine, but if we get a load of personal sniping it ends up with deleted posts, and then the mods get it in the neck for interfering! [&:]
Simon, people are put on approval only after a long series of posts needing attention, then through the process of group discussion within the forum volunteers and personal talks with the guy. We've had to deal with a couple of really nasty people over the last ten years, including threats of kneecapping someone from a forum user we knew had military experience. We've also had a rather sinister anti-Semitic poster, and promises of physical violence to the moderators. It's not an easy job!
That's the background to why these decisions are taken, but it's above the moderator's remit to revoke an approval status. That's something that needs board-level approval, for good reasons, and there's a perfectly good appeal process if anyone wants to use it.
I'd say it's a no-brainer if someone wants to ask, but that's probably better left to them to decide, isn't it? If I'd fallen foul of some over-zealous rules I'd prefer to deal with it privately. []

I see that the 1987 black turbo with cloth beige seats that sold at the East Anglian auction a week back made circa £14k. Good news for values for owners, less good news for potential purchasers.
I cant see that car, do they remove sold cars from the site, do you have any pics out of interest?

bickering and rubbish these days, I don't really go much on approvals [8|].........I just like to speak my mind,If I have something
to say then, i'll just go ahead and say it. Its just that sometimes certain people don't dig what I have to say [8|]. Their problem []
