well I've obviously missed all the fun and games today whilst I've been at work.

I would have liked to know what Brett's grievance was and how the club was dealing with it. It doesn't seem fair that all his posts are deleted yet everybody else is able to slag him off on here without knowing the full story and without Brett having the opportunity to defend himself.

I've always found Brett to be a reasonable chap. Certainly extremly helpful on this and other forums. I've crossed swords with him before now but then anyone as outspoken as Brett or myself is bound to sooner or later.

I think its unfair to hold a `closed court' about this this issue if it stems from Brett's activities on this forum My view is this is a community . The forum is us we are the forum Without the posters there would be no forum whether PCGB members or not. I think any member has the right to be judged (wrong word) by his peers ie us .not summarily thrown out simply because he won't kowtow.

As I've stated in other posts.....[8|]

Brett has been asked to a meeting with the Club to explain actions he's taken. I'd guess that today will now be added to what is a long list of problems he's caused. Some have been forum-related, and as such very public.

Until then I have said I don't think anyone should comment on things. Please give him a chance to defend himself. In the right place and under the Club terms and conditions he signed up to.

He was not blocked from posting here, but his posts have to be approved as previously he had repeatedly broken the forum rules. If he has anything to say about cars, that's fine. Political BS, threats and bullying are not, and simply won't be approved.

I assume, by his actions, Brett doesn't want to explain himself to the Board despite being given the opportunity.

The Club and this Forum have rules. You either play by the rules or leave.

We certainly will not allow people to ignor the rules just because they choose to make a nuisance of themselves.

I fail to see how anyone today has "slag(ged)" Brett off - any comments about his actions today are more than justified, I feel![8|]

I agree that everyone has to abide by the rules

Whilst I believe it is important to understand the circumstances sometimes circumstances are so exceptional that it is necessary to just accept that Mods and admin are acting in the best interests of the forum and PCGB

Ok excess posts gone, sorry took so long but had to take our new girl (called Carrera) to a puppy class.

Big thanks to Paul and John for keeping everyone informed.

Not in a porker, but since you (kinda) asked (erm....someone else).

With a couple of hours of perseverence I managed to teach 13month old "big sister" to balance the 7week old puppy on her nose. Both performers close their eyes during this trick as it's a bit scary [&:]

We might be off-topic now, but....

Dogue de Bordeaux? If so that's my favourite breed, closely followed by the English Mastiff.

I have a chocolate labrador called Sally at the moment. She's old but still full of life!

Completely off topic but my fiancees dog "Sasha" who was a Golden Retriever passed on this morning after a brave fight with doggy cancer.. She was 13yrs old and still active. She was sick for a few weeks but got really bad last night so the "big desicison" had to be made. Sinead's mum was there when she passed on ...... Both of us are gutted [:(]

I am really sorry to hear your news Donal.
