what mod would you make to your 944? (cost no object)

Engine: rebuild bottom end (2.5L), throttle bodies.
Big brake conversion either from GT3 MK2 or full on AP setup
New front wings and full respray. Retrim seats with red piping.

Ability to use bus lanes and attend Livingston's funeral [:D] [:D]

If money was no object, time would be the one thing I would buy for my various 944's... spare time to do anything to them.. Maybe next year huh?

I would delete the sunroof and remove roof skin and have a full carbon fibre roof as fitted to the M3 csl and an mo30 conversion wrapped in genuine 3.2 turbo speedlines !!!

Have one built for me entirely new out of component parts using all the best uprated parts in place of standard ones and then install a 928 GTS twin turbo engine using the latest technology stolen from Paul's 3.2 engine to create a 6.4 (or bigger) 1000+hp twin turbo V8 944

Be badged as a 944 GTS TT with a straight through exhaust!

Are you serious?? LOL

That is one monster disk... I like that... Not so sure about the caliper though.

Whats it attatched to?

For a moment I was wondering if it was some kind of eddie current brake! [:D]

My concern would be that the first time you applied the brake with the car moving, all the little evolve decals would be wiped off the disc ...

We've effectively got half a v8 in there already so what about putting in the other half, and oh hell, blow it too, for something like 5.4 litres and 500 reliable ponies and the howl of a v8

-3.0L turbo engine
-GT2front & GT3 rear brakes
-6-speed gearbox
-better suspension to replace M030

All of those combonents are already waiting to be installed [;)]
Just have to find suitable pistons

All I want for Christmas is the components required to upgrade the 4 speaker system to the 10 speaker system which was available, and a nicer blue 'lozenge' steering wheel than the tatty one I have now.

Easily pleased!

(PS: Anyone who has the necessary bits in Marine Blue, please contact me....)

If you don't mind paying a little more I know a very good company who can do you the conversion. Either to the standard 10speaker option or beyond. They are however in Northamptonshire so it depends on your location but I trust their work implicitly.

George,
I think Fen has a good blue steering wheel surplus to his needs.
Thanks Graeme - I've already contacted Fen about the steering wheel, it was apparently for sale for a while and then out of the blue he had 3 enquiries in quick succession, and I'm bottom of the queue!

Thanks Ben - I'm nowhere near Northamptonshire, but I'd be interested to see what they can do - I wouldn't mind the drive down there on a nice sunny day! Could you let me have their details please? Cheers.

I'd take my car down to the Ruff boys with a blank cheque to see what a Ruff 944 turbo would have been like.
