what mod would you make to your 944? (cost no object)

Sorry to dredge up an old thread, but I just had to post this suggested upgrade:

The laser equipment and sidewinder missile that the Pilot had! Also useful for clearing the middle lane on the motorway [;)]

If only it were true, but it's an urban myth - apparently reported by an over-zealous reporter who didn't get his facts straight. For a start, the LTI2020 is a laser device, the sidewinder missile is air-to-air, and NATO do not make a habit of flying fully-armed jets in peacetime, over civilian areas, with automatically deploying defence mechanisims. If they did, every temporary set of traffic lights would be attacked.

Yes an important requirement for all defensive aids is a safety lockout to stop the blooming things firing off accidentally when an aircraft is on the ground, taking off etc. Likewise for ships and submarines in harbours and harbour approaches.

Get rid of it and buy an Aston Martin. [:D]

god arn't they gorgeous.[:D]
there is a Vantage in the car dealers car park all this week on the Taunton Rd Bridgwater. Its been sat out in the baking sun ??? I've seen the owner using it as a hack a couple of times . Its so bluddy gorgeous looking.

oh my improvement mmmm it would have to be the centre console/armrest arrangement and lit switches . Fed up with raising the sunroof or starting the rear wiper when I want central locking etc

Back on topic, it may have been said before but one of those 80%/80% LSD's.
Here you are Neil, just to whet your appetite.[:)]
My stupid list would be 3.5L 16v engine with custom cams, head, rods, pistons, crank, deckplated, race turbo running directly off the custom plenum with itbs and water to air cooling to replace i/c. All custom exhaust work, mated to a Tilton triple plate clutch driven through a GT2 gearbox. Race brakes, suspension in a stripped and caged racecar with commensurate c/f panels and lexan windows...well that's just for starters...keep buying those lottery tickets I guess...
