Kart is a CRG Road Rebel 125 Senior Rotax Max, bought it with the intention of doing some racing at local track here in Leicestershire, but a certain young son's rugby career put pay to those plans...
Never been so scared in my life when we took it up to the circuit and ran it in, got my lap time down to 30.01 seconds at the track which equated to an average speed of 67mph around it, and that's with 2 hairpin bends in it!!!
Sold it to free up some space a while ago, but since doing the 24hr race at Wembley in December I really wish I had kept it as they are great fun.
Never tried a shifter kart but looked at some superkarts (250cc) at the Autosport Show and they were simply insane. Reckon you need a screw loose to take those out []
This looks fun though http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pw48wRz9pVo&feature=related
250 cc....haven't got knackers large enough !
Anyway, apologies for interlude, back on topic.......

It´s driven at least every few days, don´t worry! Except in salt and snow.
I live in the countryside with some nice roads around, whenever I can I take it out for half an hour of fun. So I never experienced flatspots in 17 years. Spa still depends on my mate´s help. Would be great to be there for sure. In case I have to come alone, it won´t be the full weekend then.
Regards
Hacki
P.S.: Where´s your toy sitting, can you drive it from time to time also?
