Those wheels would look nice on my 9-5. If I win the ebay auction I am on at the mo I will have a nice set of 9-3ss aero wheels to put on.

VW Touareg 3.0litre Turbo diesel with air suspension. Does the offroad like it should too!
A Cayenne with a diesel engine!
Or a MG ZR 2.0l turbo diesel (Sons car) great litle roller skate!
Sometimes an old 96 3.0litre BMW 5 series touring, petrol so expensive to run but comfortable!

944s are the only cars i've ever owned(exept when i had a carina e for 2 months..[:'(])..so at the moment i'm driving a 944..1985 2.5 Sapphire Metallic..

Can I have the prize for worst daily driver?

Citroen AX 10E. 4 speed. Manual choke. 40 Bhp. Ish.

Although, cheap road tax, 10 quid tyres, no ECU's, 55mpg......

Have to say though I am a tad jealous because your cab is exactly the colour and trim spec I like the best. My gf would love that car too.

Owch that brings back memories! DO not crash that car! I was in the back seat of one that was involved in a 50mph accident where a car pulled out of a turning into us and I still have the lump in my skull to prove it! The car came out of the insident pre crashed! It was astonishing how much damage was done from a not massive accident. The golf that hit us drove away!

Every now and again I think about buying an AX GT for the daily commute as they were great light fun cars, and more economical than my daily driver, which is the 968 on my Avitar (exept this week as I am using my 44S2)[:)][:)][:)]

I was thinking of posting something similar. Many years ago my wife had an AX Salsa and a uni mate of hers had one the same that was involved in a similar sounding accident on a suburban street (so circa 30mph tops). She had to be cut free of the car but was luckily not too badly hurt. I think it was around 4 days later that we chopped my wife's in against a Golf.

I always fancied a 900 Carlsson

My neighbours got one, doesnt float my boat BUT he has also got a seriously tuned 900 with one of the best sounding 4 pot exhausts I`ve ever heard [8D]

yep, got one of those too [:D]

that's not mine, mine sounds a bit less rattly than that, but you get the idea. It's a hell of a burble from a 4 pot :D

Thats the one, great on tickover and under load. You always know when he starts his car and drives up the road. Loud but not intrusive.

Mine was similar, basically all Saab 4 pot turbo's when given an unrestrictive exhaust make a noise like a ship moving around in port. I get a more subtle version of it from the BSR stainless system I have on me 9-5. I am getting old now and like cars that have low NVH at 70 mph.
