Which 997?

There are some cracking Indies out there but price differences are fairly narrow for similar cars. For the sake of a grand I would go OPC but if the difference is more than that then it's down to how the math works for you.

Low mileage P-cars command keen prices. Are they any better hmmm? As reply above, low mileage doesn't mean looked after. Most of the unlucky stories I read on forums tend to be cars with low miles, they need to be driven. Unless you intend to garage it for 50 odd weeks per year I wouldn't get too wound up about future prices, drive it and enjoy it. 997.2 C4S are brilliant cars but a 930 Turbo they are not and in 20 years who knows. If you are not going to put more than 3k miles on per year then mileage shouldn't be a primary concern providing it is reasonable. Having bought a 2010 C4S with 26k miles I often find myself worrying about how many miles I am putting on it but then I drive it and remember why I bought it ;) I have been in much higher mileage P-cars and you wouldn't know it unless you looked at the clock.

Only thing to be concerned about with these cars at 6 years old is the amount of maintenance afforded on it. Look for brakes, plugs, clutch oil etc these can be costly and should have been changed by the 6th year service or soon after and wont be covered by any warranty.

Yes, mine is the black one with 48k miles, fully loaded with all the extras. Does come with a warranty from Northway Porsche or you can buy privately off me with no Warranty for 3k less.

It has 4 new tyres and will happily service her before you buy if you're interested.

Where are you based?

I'm near Reading in Berkshire.

Any additional photos or information you want I can e-mail you the details.

If you want to come and have a look, please let me know so I can collect the car.

Thanks
