Interesting concept Alex which of course set me looking to compare! Narrrowest 997 turbo at 72.9" and widest (that I could find) Pagani Huayra/Zonda (or whatever) at 80.2". Of the others the 599 is 77.2", SLS 76.3" and others around 75". Can I have my anorak badge now please..........[]. Just wish I could have been there to see them all.......[]ORIGINAL: Alex L All other super/hyper-cars there were far too wide for B road fun []
ORIGINAL: garyw Winners on the day reported as; The Agera.
Yes, useful stats Alan! A real sell-able feature in my opinion. Gallardo is 74" and 458 75". The 997 has got to be king of the back-roads! F cars are obviously only good for A-roads, which are busy and have lots of speed traps ie. no wonder they don't do many miles. Clive did really well fitting his Scud down some the old routes we use to do.ORIGINAL: tscaptainInteresting concept Alex which of course set me looking to compare! You put them on Pistonheads- so Yes bandwidth would be taken... [] But they are very good shots, tempting me even more for a new camera... garywORIGINAL: Alex L My pics on Photobucket seems to have been overly popular so have exceeded the bandwidth limit.

Very true..... but I still very much enjoy mine []ORIGINAL: Alex L I think we have to face facts, 997s are just too common and as such only special to the person behind the wheel. No wonder they depreciate like a stone. Thanks Porsche!
A friend of mine was in the 150 in his 996 GT2 mk2. Did the hill climb too.ORIGINAL: Alex L I was a little disappointed that we weren't in the exclusive 150 supercars that made their grand enterance and got to do the hill climb in the morning There were a couple of 997 Turbos and a GT3RS 4.0 that made the cut though.
