Just had the transfer box replaced under warranty on our Macan 2.0 Petrol, just before the end of the 3 years.
I noticed a slight but discernable vibration through the steering wheel when setting off, particularly under extra load such as pulling away up hill. It felt like the car was going over small speed bumps. Initially as the tyre were well worn, I though this may be the problem, but after replacing the tyres the fault was still there.
OPC immediately diagnosed fault with Transfer Box and ordered a new one from Germany, and fitted week later.
On viewing other Macan forums it appears this is not an uncommon problem, and the OPC service manager confirmed there has been 'a few', but I think was reluctant to admit how many. Be interesting to know if other PCGB Macan owners had had same problem.
I recommend all Macan owners be vigilant to the symptoms whilst still under warranty.
